1. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law.

2. Opening and application of the terms
These terms apply when you place an order through finebedding.co.uk or finebedding.ie. Please read them before ordering. By submitting an order, you agree that these terms will form part of the contract if we accept your order.

3. Governing law and courts
These terms and any contract between you and us are governed by English law. If you live in England or Wales, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.

4. Territorial scope
We deliver to the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and the Isle of Man. We do not deliver to the Channel Islands. Available delivery services and charges will be shown at checkout. If you access the website from another location, you are responsible for checking whether you may lawfully use the website and purchase the products there. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

5. Events outside reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control. If such an event affects delivery, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take steps to minimise the delay. Your statutory rights, including any right to cancel where delivery is not made within an agreed or legally required time, are not affected.

6. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of your statutory rights. If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses where products are purchased for domestic and private use.

7. Customer and payment information
You must provide complete and accurate contact, delivery and payment information. You must be authorised to use the payment method selected. We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. When the contract is formed
After you place an order, we will send an acknowledgement confirming that we have received it. This acknowledgement is not acceptance of your order. A contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation, unless we tell you earlier that we have accepted the order. The contract will cover only the products identified in that confirmation.

9. Refusal or cancellation of an order
We may reject an order before acceptance, for example if a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, there is an obvious pricing or description error, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If we cannot accept your order, we will tell you and refund any amount taken. We will not cancel an accepted order except where these terms or the law allow us to do so.

10. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in the currency selected on the website and include applicable VAT where required. Delivery charges and any other charges payable to us will be shown before you place your order. For destinations where import duties, taxes or customs charges apply and are not collected at checkout, you are responsible for those charges. We will correct obvious pricing errors and will contact you before accepting an affected order.

11. Payment methods and processing
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Your payment provider may authorise or reserve funds when you place the order. We will take payment in accordance with the information shown at checkout and in your order confirmation.

12. Payment security
Payments are processed by the payment providers identified at checkout. We take reasonable steps to protect payment information and handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Risk in the goods
The goods remain at our risk until they come into your physical possession or the possession of a person you identify to receive them, except where you arrange delivery using a carrier that we did not offer. We use a signed-for delivery service, but risk passes by physical possession rather than by the signature itself.

14. Delivery dates
Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a fixed date. We will deliver without undue delay and, unless we agree otherwise, within 30 days after the contract is formed. If we miss an agreed or legally required delivery deadline, you may have the right to set a further reasonable deadline or cancel the order in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

15. Product descriptions
We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, prices and other information are accurate. Images are illustrative, and colours may vary slightly between displays. This does not affect your statutory right to receive goods that match their description, are of satisfactory quality and are fit for any purpose made known to us.

16. Change-of-mind cancellation and the 30-day policy
Our 30-day returns policy is in addition to your statutory rights. To use the statutory cancellation right for an online purchase, tell us within 14 days after the day you receive the goods that you wish to cancel, then send the goods back within a further 14 days. You do not need to give a reason. Under our additional 30-day policy, unused goods must be returned in the condition and packaging described on our Delivery and Returns page.

You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. We may reduce a refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. If goods are sealed for health-protection or hygiene reasons, the statutory cancellation right does not apply after the seal is broken. This exception does not affect your rights if the goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

17. How to cancel or return
To ask us to cancel an order before dispatch, email hello@finebedding.co.uk with your name and order number. We will try to stop the order, but we cannot guarantee this once it has entered our fulfilment provider's system. If we cannot stop it, you may still use any statutory cancellation right and return the goods after delivery.

To cancel or return an order, use our Returns Portal or email returns@finebedding.co.uk with your name and order number. For a change-of-mind return, you do not need to give a reason. Please follow the return instructions provided and retain proof of posting.

18. Faulty damaged or incorrect goods
If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrect, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at hello@finebedding.co.uk. Your remedies are governed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and may include a refund, repair or replacement depending on the circumstances. We will bear the reasonable cost of returning goods that do not conform to the contract. No term in this policy limits your statutory rights.

19. Condition of returns
For change-of-mind returns under our additional 30-day policy, the goods must meet the conditions stated on our Delivery and Returns page. Statutory cancellation returns may be subject to a deduction for diminished value caused by excessive handling. These conditions do not limit your remedies for faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.

20. Refund timing and delivery charges
For a statutory cancellation, we will refund the price paid and the cost of standard delivery within 14 days after the returned goods are received at our warehouse or, where the law requires an earlier refund, after you provide evidence that you sent them back. We may withhold the refund until then. If you chose a more expensive delivery method, we need refund only the cost of standard delivery. Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund.

21. Returns after 30 days
After the change-of-mind return period has expired, we are not required to accept a return unless the goods do not conform to the contract or we agree otherwise. If you believe the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, contact returns@finebedding.co.uk with your order details. We will provide the appropriate return instructions.

22. Sale items
Sale items have the same statutory rights as full-price items. Any additional change-of-mind return offered by us will be stated clearly at the time of purchase and on our Delivery and Returns page.

23. Competition marketing
Entering a competition does not by itself subscribe you to marketing. We will send marketing emails only where we have a valid lawful basis and have provided any consent or opt-out choice required by law. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each marketing email. Please see our Privacy Policy for details of how we use personal data.

24. Promotional code terms
A promotional code gives the discount stated in the relevant promotion on eligible products, subject to availability, any minimum spend, the stated validity period and any campaign-specific terms. Enter the code at checkout before placing the order. Unless the promotion states otherwise, codes apply only to full-price eligible products and cannot be combined with another code, automatic discount or promotion. Campaign-specific minimum spends and exclusions will be stated with the offer.

25. Ineligible items
If a discount code is used on an ineligible item, the website will tell you before you place the order.

26. Gift cards
Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase gift cards, unless the relevant promotion expressly states otherwise.

27. Withdrawal or rejection of a code
We may withdraw a code before it is used or reject it where it has expired, does not meet the stated conditions, was issued in error, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. This will not affect an order we have already accepted unless the law or these terms allows us to cancel it. If we reject a code before accepting your order, we will show or tell you the correct price and give you the opportunity not to proceed.

28. Using discount codes
When you use a discount code, you confirm that you are entitled to use it and will comply with its terms. Discount codes and automatic discounts cannot be combined unless the relevant promotion states otherwise.
